I just bought a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid and it doesn't hold a charge. It will have 5 bars of charge for a few minutes and for no reason fall to 1 bar. Most of the time it stays around 2 bars. Yesterday I had no bars. I am a real estate agent and it is very embarassing when I can hardly get across the street. The dealership took me out to show me how to drive it by slowing braking, etc. but the siutation has only gotten worse. Has anyone else had this problem?
No. I have not had that issue with my 2006 Civic Hybrid. Sounds broken.

If I would focus primarily on the fact that they get great fuel mileage and with rising gas prices, that's becoming a necessity. Focus on how it reduces your carbon footprint and in turn, helps keep our air a bit cleaner. Also, with gas consumption increasing exponentially, talk about how hybrids will help preserve what gas resources we have left for much longer than other cars would.
